CAUTION: Not for use with Amacom eZsecure; Admin/Master Password will be erased when upgrading from v1.XX to v2.XX firmware. Admin Password utility will need to be re-initialised. Upgrading from any v2 to v2.03 will not erase the Admin Password.

    Firmware Update Instructions

  1. Disconnect all other USB external devices except Data Locker.
  2. Download the current version of your firmware.
  3. Unzip the firmware file.
  4. Connect your Data Locker by entering in your PIN number.
  5. Double click on the file named "Datalocker-xx.EXE"
  6. *Please Note, Windows Vista and Windows 7 users, please 'Right Click' and select 'Run As Administrator'
  7. Once connected. Hit the "Start Button" and WAIT.
  8. After update is completed, you may click Exit button on the bottom.
  9. Turn off the Data Locker power switch, wait 5 seconds and turn it on again. After getting connection successfully, you will see the new updated version number.

    Master Password Instructions

  1. Disconnect all other USB external devices except Data Locker.
  2. Download the Master Password Utility tool.
  3. Unzip the utility file.
  4. Connect your Data Locker by entering in your PIN number.
  5. If using Windows Vista follow the next two steps, otherwise just double click to open the utility.
  6. Right Click on the file named "Datalocker-Pwd.EXE"
  7. Select 'Run As Administrator' and click allow on UAC options.
  8. Once loaded, leave the 'Current Password' box blank, and enter a new 6 to 18 digit PIN in the 'New Password' and 'Re-Enter Password' boxes.
  9. Click 'Set Master Password' button and 'Ok' to exit the utility.
  10. Turn off the Data Locker power switch, wait 5 seconds and turn it on again. After getting connection successfully, you will snow be able to access the device using either the User PIN or Administrator PIN.
